Well, much to my dismay I turned 23 yesterday. This month is rough, first graduation and then a birthday...anyhow, this a.m. I woke up with a raging headache and was told at the dentist's office that I need an emergency root canal. Yikes. It's been scheduled for 3:30 this afternoon. Double yikes. Last time I was at the dentist in Sept. before leaving for Argentina I was told that I needed a crown and if I didn't do it right away eventually I would need a root canal. Well, they told me it would be almost $600 so I opted not to have it done. Now, of course, nine months later, I need the root canal (price not yet known) and a crown. I guess that's what happens when you get old? Anyhow, once I found out I'm about to drop all of my graduation money, plus put the remainder on a card, I bought my ticket to the East coast. Boston, NYC, DC, Charlotte. Woo hoo! I'm also very pleased to report finishing my last semester with straight "A"s. Double woo hoo.

The ceremony was long, hot and uneventful. I had people over to my house afterwards which was nice. Five days 'til I leave for Alaska!

I turned in my last paper today at 12:30 p.m.
