The clinic where I work on Tuesdays. Tuesday is vaccination day when mothers bring in their babies. I keep the register, weigh babies, and try to do education.

As the mark of one year flies by and I have so few blog posts to relay it, I suppose an explanation is in order. First, I would say the greatest hindrance to regular updating is the internet, lack thereof, speed of the connection and a limit on how much time I’m able to spend on it (very little-especially as of late due to transportation). Secondly, at some point the novelty of living in Morocco wore off and I no longer feel like could be working for National Geographic . And lastly, I’m a terrible correspondent, who is lucky to have any friends at all, considering my abominable communication. Also, work was very slow getting started, the language not easily acquired, relationships were frustrating as a result etc. and I was pretty unhappy overall. I just didn’t have much of anything positive to report. FINALLY these last three months things have really started to pick up and I am able say that I’m happy to be here.
While on the topic of friends Claire and Adam came to visit, which was GREAT and all the pictures below are from their trip. Hopefully they will inspire others to visit!
So, I’m hoping to start posting more frequently, at least more than once every six months!

Need anyone more inspiration to visit than the pictured bathroom site and the allure of medical syringes in the rivers?
I am glad to hear you are enjoying life there as of late.
Miss you, contact me when you've got a chance.
