I hate blogger

I still don´t know how to post and keep photos in order and don´t have the patience to figure it out. Having said that, these are pictures of an afternoon reception the newly arrived Ambassador held at his residence on Friday. The images aren´t exactly how or of what I would have liked to have taken, but because cameras aren´t actually allowed most of them were taken quickly and as indiscretely as possible. But just to give you an idea of where your tax dollars go...
This is what I romanticized the Embassy would be like.

Guests are entertained (only allowed) on the second floor where there are three dining rooms and four different sitting rooms. Truth be told, it´s really kind of lackluster compared to other countries´residences.
